A pasta box was utilized for this activity. I cut the top fo the box and the bottom front of it. I had decided to wrap the box with a colored paper. I gave Boy 2.3 the box with pompons and showed him how to use the box. This activity is for fine motor skills and learning about cause and effect. The child drop the pompon on the top of the box and it appears on bottom of it.
