Throwing “rings” to the paper towel roll

Trace the roll onto the paper plate
Cut the inside of the paper plates.
Feed the paper roll through the pate, cut the roll on 4 areas, then tape it to the plate.

Materials –
A few paper plates
Paper towel roll
Tape
Scissors
Pen

Cut the inner portion of the paper plates and set aside. I used a more sturdy paper plate to make the base but it can be done with the same type of the plates that were used to be tossed. Trace the paper towel roll in the middle of the plate being used as a base. Cut the circle in the sturdy plate that corresponds to the roll. I made four cuts in the roll of approximately two inches, fed that part through the hole in the plate, and secured it with tape, as it was demonstrated in pictures below.

This activity targets fine and gross motor skills.
