Water
Ice tray
small plastic animals
freezer
hammer or a wooden

Hot days call for refreshing activities!
Put the animals in an ice tray, add water, then leave it in the freeze until the water has become ice. Have the child wack the ice until the animal is free. This is a fun and refreshing activity. Both my husband and I played with with Boy 2.5!
