Moving the Ball

Materials –
2 cardboard boxes (of different sizes – the smaller will be used as the toy and the bigger is to cover the uneven bottom of the other box)
Clay
Paint
Cut the top of part of the smaller cardboard box (this will be the toy.) Trace the bottom of the small box into the side of the larger box and cut it out, from the inside of the tracing. This will be inserted to the bottom of the small box to make a new and smooth bottom to the “ocean.” Make the waves with clay and set them in horizontal lines with openings on the opposite ends alternating the path for the ball. Make sure the bottom of the waves are thicker than the top to secure it to the box. The ball was also made with clay. Let them dry for a day and paint the toy, if desired. Test if the clay is dry before using the toy.
