This activity was made in parts then assembled in the end…
Aquarium
Cut two sides of a small cardboard box (the front and the bottom of it) then painted.
The water
Mix water with blue food coloring that my son (2.5) used to paint the foamy pad with a dropper, it had to be dried overnight.
Fish
Make fish with markers onto the construction paper and have the child color decorate it with colored markers and cut them.
Finalizing
Tie the strings to the top of the aquarium and glue the other end of it to the back of the fish with tape. Add the pad against the back of the aquarium between the cardboard and the fish. Set the aquarium in the desired place and add the pebbles.
