Practicing throwing balls (pitching)

Materials –

Painter’s tape

Newspaper cut into small pieces

This is an easy activity for the kids to practice throwing “acceptable” objects at home. I have decided to turn this into a spider web, made out of painter’s take, that will get little paper balls made out newspaper. This is good for gross and fine motor skills, throwing is a more challenging physical activities for toddlers.

Happy spider craft

Materials –

Paper plate (A hard paper can be used instead of the plate)

Fuzzy sticks (purple)

Purple colored paper

Black marker

Googley eyes

Glue

Tape

Cut the inner circle of the paper plate. Trace the circle, made from the plate, onto the colored paper, cut it and glue it to the plate. Draw a mouth and glue the Googley eyes to the face of the spider. Glue the legs of the spider with a tape to the back of it.

FYI – Spiders have eight legs and I have only made six…
