Target out of a large box

Materials –

Large cardboard box

Utility knife

Round objects of different sizes

Sharpie (optional)

Balls or balls made out of socks

Cut out the top of the box. Cut out circles of different sizes on the bottom of the box with the knife and the round objects. Write numbers on top of each circle, the larger the circle the smaller is the number – this will allow to teach addition in case you want to add the numbers and to also teach number recognition to the child. This is a great activity for number recognition/math, fine and large motor skills.
