Materials – 

Cardboard box

Kitchen knife or scissors

Plastic spoons

Coins or other small objects (the thinner the object the more they will work their little fingers)

Cut slits in throughout a box and insert the spoons. Model to the child what is expected from the activity and let them enjoy their way. My daughter started showing interest in inserting the coin through the wrapping I made so I decided to make a hole on top of the box for her to play as a pig bank.
